The transfer switch monitors utility power and signals the
generator to start when utility power is interrupted. When
utility power returns, the transfer switch returns the electrical
load from the generator back to the utility. This ensures
your most important electrical loads are powered, within seconds,
even when you're away. No toggles to flip, no knobs to turn,
no extension cords to run when you lose utility power. You
will have the comfort and peace-of-mind knowing that your
GUARDIAN standby generator does everything for you... automatically.
RTS transfer switches are designed for a wide variety of
applications that require up to 400 amps. The RTS is integrated
with the R-Series digital controller and operate only with
standby generators thru 60kW. All RTS transfer switches come
standard with NEMA 3R enclosures and are suitable for outdoor
mounting.
- A two pole, 100-amp ATS with integrated

- A two pole, 200-amp ATS with Service Disconnect
is standard equipment on the Guardian Elite 18 kW model.
- Transfer switches must be purchased separately
for stand-alone air-cooled models and all liquid-cooled
models.
